Tournament Format
The Odisha Cup UAE is an exciting limited-overs cricket tournament that kicks off with league matches. This is followed by Super Six and knockout stages, ultimately leading up to the semi-finals and finals.
Matches will take place at various designated grounds across UAE cities, including Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, and Umm al-Quwain.
Match Duration & Overs
Games will be contested in either 15-over or 20-over formats, based on the match schedule.
Each inning will utilize the full quota of overs unless either team is dismissed earlier or specific conditions arise.
Playing Conditions :
Team Composition & Registration
All teams are required to submit their playing XI and official team manager details at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled match time.
Players must be properly registered and included in the official team list provided ahead of time.
Dress Code
Players must compete in their official team uniform or jersey. Players not in jersey are not allowed on the field, including support personnel.
Playing Equipment
Teams should arrange for their own cricket equipment (bats, protective gear, etc.).
It is highly recommended that all players wear standard cricket safety gear such as helmets, pads, and gloves for their protection.
Match Officials
Matches will be overseen by appointed umpires whose decisions will be deemed final and mandatory.
Umpires hold the right to take disciplinary action for any rule infractions and report any incidents to the tournament organizers.
Reporting & Match Start
Teams must arrive at the ground at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start.
The coin toss must take place no later than 10 minutes prior to the match start.
Conduct & Fair Play
All participants are expected to follow these guidelines:
